How to be Insulting to Vegetarians
George Bernard Shaw was a famous vegetarian and in most of the houses where he stayed special vegetarian dishes were prepared for him whenever he was visiting. On one occasion Sir James Barrie was a fellow guest with Shaw and as they were about to tuck into their lunch Barrie noticed the curious concoction of salads, oils and mayonnaises on Shaw's plate.
